I+D+i 2015 project
Innovation Networks for Educational and Social Inclusion: Co-laboratory of inclusion. EDU2015-68617-C4-4-R. Dir. Teresa Susinos
This project, financed by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (R&D&I Plan), lasted four years (2015-19). Its purpose was to promote, develop and evaluate 7 local participatory research projects. Therefore, the project unfolds as a mosaic of initiatives that share a vision of social research as an instrument for inclusion as it combines systematic reflection, collaborative training and social transformation.
Each of the 7 projects was carried out with a mixed research team (researchers/s from the institutions and the Grupo In-Pares UC) who was responsible for directing the entire research process, starting by collaboratively elucidating what issue of their daily reality they wanted to transform through their project.
Therefore, all projects had a vocation for social transformation following a similar process that we have called “inclusive participation cycle” (Susinos, 2020).
1.
Creation of a team of co-researchers
(research staff and the institution itself) and joint analysis of needs, interests and objectives.
2.
Democratic deliberation process under the question: What do we want to investigate, change, communicate or denounce our daily reality?”
3.
Improvement project. The team decides what their own research project will be and how to make a proposal with diverse expressive languages and social impact.
4.
Evaluation, dissemination and social impact. The team carries out an evaluation of the process and will develop products that will allow the dissemination of experience.
We invite you to learn more about each of these projects by browsing the website of each of them and through the publications and audiovisual products that resulted from these investigations.
